In 1999, the Foundation established the ASHRAE Foundation Heritage Society as a means to recognize those individuals who have included ASHRAE in their estate plan via a bequest, charitable remainder trust, charitable gift annuity or some other planned gift.
To date, there are more than 30 loyal ASHRAE members who have made such a commitment representing more than $5,000,000 in future expectancies.
